Dr Marquis joined the practice as a salaried GP in 2011 and has now become a partner. She graduated from Liverpool University in 1999. She has worked as a General Practitioner for the past 7 years. She has special interests in Family Planning, Child Health and Diabetes.

Dr Saggar graduated from medical school in 2000 in India. She joined the practice as a GP registrar in 2009 and then became a salaried GP in 2010. She has now become a partner. Her special interests include minor surgery, joint injections, family planning and aesthetic medicine.
MB ChB (Salaried GP)
Dr Rowe is an assistant general practitioner. She trained at Dundee University and qualified in 1984. She takes four surgeries per week.
Since the 6th August 2014 the partnership of Wrenbury Medical Practice has been an accredited Training Practice and is involved in the training of fully qualified doctors who wish to enter General Practice. Dr Namrata Saggar is the named GP Trainer for Wrenbury Medical Practice.
We have a Registrar who will be working in the practice for a period of 6 months at a time and an F2 registrar who will be in the practice for 4 months.
These doctors will hold their own surgery sessions. Occasionally there may be a video camera in use. You will be warned in advance and your signed consent will be requested before you are seen when you will have the opportunity to decline if you prefer. Any intimate examinations will not be recorded and the camera can be switched off at any time. Tapes will be erased after use and are for training purposes only.
Practice Pharmacist
Pam works in the practice on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Debra is a RGN and has clinics on Thursday and Friday. Amongst the services she provides are diabetes monitoring, dressings, immunisations, advice for foreign travel and cervical smears.
Louise joined our Nursing Team in July 2016, a registered RGN, Louise holds Clinics on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
Amongst the services Louise provides are asthma monitoring, dressings, ear syringing.
Mandy has clinics on Tuesday morning, Wednesday morning and Friday morning.
Appointments for INR blood tests can be booked at reception. All blood tests must be authorised by a doctor or nurse before an appointment can be made.
Practice Manager
Becky joined the practice in August 2016 . She is responsible for the general management of the office, computer and dispensary and the supervision and training of all the clerical staff.
Between them our receptionists and secretaries book appointments, deal with patients’ enquiries, type letters and carry out many other clerical duties.
Although the receptionist is not a doctor she is trained to take essential details sympathetically and in complete confidence.
Kate provides antenatal and postnatal care locally and is a member of the Alvaston Team midwives who will care for you during your delivery & stay in hospital. The antenatal clinic at the surgery will be each week on a Tuesday afternoon 13.30 to 16.00.
You may either see your GP, Nurse Practitioner or the midwife when you have a positive pregnancy test. Your needs will then be assessed and you will be referred to the hospital of your choice for an initial dating scan.

District Nurses provide the following services: wound management, ear syringing, administration of certain medications, blood taking ( for certain patients), chronic disease monitoring for certain conditions, minor illness advice, varicose vein and circulation assessment and terminal care. They provide care to people who are too ill or infirm to come to the surgery and are frequently involved with patients recently discharged from hospital requiring follow up nursing care and patients suffering from chronic or terminal conditions.
To contact the District Nurses telephone 01270 780085 and leave a message. Messages are collected at 9am, 1pm and 5pm by the district nurse on duty.
Health Visitors are available to provide advice for children up to the age of 4 years, undertake child health surveillance and child protection, feeding and weaning advice, baby weighing, sleep problem advice, post natal depression counselling, and advice to smoking parents.
If you are expecting a baby, the Health Visitor will be in contact when you are approximately 36 weeks pregnant as they offer a visit to all prospective parents. The next routine contact is at approximately 28 days after delivery in your home. This visit involves a discussion of any concerns and routine checks. Any problems with feeding, sleeping, child development, family support can be discussed. Follow up visits are offered until mother and baby have had their first postnatal examinations at the surgery at approximately six and eight weeks after delivery respectively.
Further support throughout the early years is provided with routine checks at 9 months, 2 years and 3 years. Baby immunisations will be arranged with the doctor or Practice Nurse.

Physiotherapy
A physiotherapy clinic is held at the surgery on a Thursday. Patients are referred by the doctor and the appointments are made direct by the physiotherapists. They have a direct line, 01270 781900, which records messages but they are only picked up on the clinic day.
Podiatry
The Podiatry clinic is now held at the Church View Medical Centre in Nantwich. There are no longer sessions held at the surgery. Patients can self-refer or be referred by the Nurse Practitioner or the Doctor. Forms are sent to:

The team dispense all the repeat prescriptions and medications prescribed by the Doctors from surgery consultations.
